About
separatore
separatore Mazen

Taylor-made contemporary art projects for your business.

We started Mazen in May 2010 in Italy with the goal of building a bridge between the art and the entrepreneurial world, running our business with a non-gallery approach.

We look for and select prominent contemporary artists able to fit specific needs of companies and other potential sponsors - banks, governments or private collectors - fostering the creation of site-specific works of art.

Everyday we analyze the profile of our current or future clients’ in order to better understand their needs and we identify artists and artworks that can emphasize their corporate identities, core values and initiatives.

As a matter of fact, we offer a broad range of art projects, including exhibitions in corporate spaces, public art and comprehensive marketing campaigns -such as re-branding or corporate positioning-.

separatore Manifesto

In medio stat virtus.

Virtue stands in the middle. And there’s exactly where we want to stand. We are mediators, halfway between the needs of the artists and the needs of the sponsors.

We are NOT an art gallery.

We do not represent artists, neither we want to take a share of their latest sale. We just want to help them create something they haven’t created yet.

Let the artist be the artist.

We believe it’s unfair that an artist spends 80% of his time looking for money needed to realize what he creates in the remaining 20%. Artists should hang on at their studios, not at a bank’s lobby. We can do that.

Art has no borders. And neither do we.

Mazen has been originally created in Italy. But today our projects follow international routes, from Europe to the US, from the Middle East to Southeast Asia. Because creative ideas always clear customs.

Everything connects.

As designer Charles Eamse used to say, “eventually everything connects - people, ideas, objects. The quality of the connections is the key to quality per se.” That’s why we’re so keen in enhancing our network everyday.
